Back Argentina @ 8/1  to win the World Cup.....11/10 to win Group C...... bet with BLUESQUARE

Back Ivory Coast @ 80/1  to win the World Cup.....8/1 to win Group C...... bet with BLUESQUARE

Argentina's shock first-round exit at Korea/Japan 2002 prompted a radical overhaul of their squad, with new coach Jose Pekerman promoting many of his U-23 players with the likes of Juan Pablo Sorin, Esteban Cambiasso and Juan Roman Riquelme that stormed to victory at the Olympic Football Tournament at Athens 2004. Only defenders Roberto Ayala, Juan Pablo Sorin, midfielder Pablo Aimar and striker Hernan Crespo remain.

Ivory Coast coach, French man Henri Michel, kept the players who took them to Germany as well as all the way to the final of the recent CAF African Cup of Nations in Egypt. The Elephants edged out favourites Cameroon in Group 3 after a 3-1 win over Sudan on the final day of qualifying. They will be hoping to emulate the achievement of African nations, Cameroon in 1990 and Senegal in 2002.

The African's best prospect Ivory Coast are drawn in a tough group including today's opponents Argentina, the likes of Holland as well as ex-Yugoslavia nation, Serbia and Montenegro otherwise they could be the tournament's dark horse. 2-time World Cup winners Argentina's talented young guns have matured and blended well with the old hands are likely to fulfill their potentials this time. This is a game they must and should win in this tough group probably by the odd goal.
