Wigan manager Paul
Jewell has again vowed to make changes for his side's FA Cup third-round
tie with Championship side Leeds at the JJB Stadium. He has adopted a
similar policy for the Carling Cup matches this season, although he also
threatened to shake up the team after their poor defeats to Blackburn
and Birmingham on Saturday and Monday. Striker Henri Camara flew out to
link up with Senegal for the African Nations' Cup is unavailable, while
left-back Leighton Baines is still struggling with a hamstring injury.
Captain Arjan de Zeeuw is also doubtful after breaking his nose at St
Andrews while new signing, Austria defender Paul Scharner, is likely to
be on the bench.
Leeds have been given the all-clear to play on-loan midfielder Jonathon
Douglas at the JJB from Blackburn. Manager Kevin Blackwell has no major
new injury or suspension concerns. On-loan midfielder Liam Miller has
returned to Manchester United.
