Wigan strikers Henri
Camara and Andreas Johansson are both rsted doubtful. Camara has yet to
return from a family funeral in Senegal while Johansson suffered a knee
injury in the 1-1 draw at Blackburn on Monday.
Birmingham boss Steve Bruce will have Matthew Upson, Muzzy Izzet, David
Dunn and Chris Sutton back from lengthy injury lay-offs. Stephen
Clemence and Nicky Butt were both ruled out with hamstring problems.
Wigan continue to
push for a UEFA Cup place, currently in 8th place on 47 points, 6 points
off 6th place Blackburn with 6 games remaining. Last weekend saw them
robbed off maximum points away at Erwood Park against Blackburn where a
controversial goal cancelled out their 1-0 lead. Birmingham picked up
crucial points in their bid to remain in the top flight. Their 0-0 draw
against mighty Chelsea followed with a 1-0 win over a strong Bolton side
lifted them out of the relegation zone for the first time in 6 months
with 6 games left to play. Those were played at St.Andrews and will need
to improve a current poor record of 1 draw and 7 defeats from last 8
travels. Have a chance here against a Wigan side yet to win a home game
since their 4-3 defeat of Man.City on 26th December last year.
