Defender Dejan
Stefanovic (ankle) and midfielder Richard Hughes (shoulder) who both
have recovered from ankle and shoulder problems respectively return to
the Portsmouth squad. Full-back Gregory Vignal is fit again after
illness.
Wayne Bridge is back in Fulham's squad after recovered from a hip
injury. Midfielder Simon Elliott and striker Heidar Helguson are also
back in contention for a place after injury. Liam Rosenior is struggling
with a calf injury.
This is at
Craven Cottage where Fulham are at their best despite remain the only
side in England yet to clinch an away victory. They bounced back from a
0-4 reverse here to Arsenal with a famous 1-0 derby win over leaders
Chelsea to put their home record in tact. Last weekend saw them grind
out their 1st away point since December 3rd with a 0-0 draw at Aston
Villa in a game they could have easily notched up that elusive away
victory. Portsmouth coming into this match in confident mood, won their
second league game in a row following a 4-2 comfortable win at Upton
Park against a makeshift West Ham side last weekend, their first maximum
on the road since October last year. Though, they still remain 2 places
and 3 points off the safety line but have a game in hand. Fulham are
mathematically not safe from relegation, still in need of a couple more
points from their remaining games to reach the usual 40 points tally for
Premiership survival. Is my pick here on just a - 1/2 ball handicap
against troubled Portsmouth. Wins against Man.City and West Ham who have
cup priorities do not suggest much.
