Charlton manager
Alan Curbishley must again decide whether to make more changes as he
looks to return to winning ways. Influential Danny Murphy was dropped to
the bench while winger Dennis Rommedahl was not even in the squad
against Aston Villa on Saturday. Both could return, while veteran
goalkeeper Dean Kiely may come back in for Stephan Andersen. Kevin
Lisbie, Gonzalo Sorondo, Shaun Bartlett and Jason Euell are all set for
a run-out with the reserves tonight, and so will not feature against
Blackburn.
Turkish midfielder Tugay is doubtful for Blackburn's Carling Cup trip to
Charlton with a calf injury. Striker Paul Dickov should recover from a
thigh injury, Dominic Matteo is still out with an ankle problem and
Lucas Neill may not be risked with a back problem. On-loan David Bentley
is available for selection after being ineligible for last weekend's
match against Arsenal.
Probable lineups:
Charlton : Kiely, Young, Hreidarsson, El Karkouri, Spector,
