Marseille coach
Jean Fernandez will miss the match after undergoing surgery to remove
gall stones on Tuesday and the 51-year-old will watch the game from his
hospital bed. Midfielder Sabri Lamouchi is out with a groin injury,
while defenders Bostjan Cesar (head) and Jérôme Bonnissel (thigh) are
sidelined too.
Bolton are without
Senegalese striker El Hadji Diouf who will be out for a month with a
hernia problem. However, striker Henrik Pedersen may return after four
months out with an achilles problem. Manager Sam Allardyce will be
present, having delayed his journey to Marseille due to a chest
infection.
