Newcastle have Parker
(knee), Emre (hamstring) and Ameobi (hip) back and could all figure.
Midfielder Lee Bowyer is out with a virus, while Kieron Dyer and Craig
Moore (both hamstring) Stephen Carr (hernia) and Steven Taylor
(shoulder) are all still out. Amady Faye is at the African Nations Cup
with Senegal.
Influential Cheltenham defender Shane Duff looks to be winning his
fitness battle. The 23-year-old centre-back was expected to make his
comeback from an ankle injury. Fellow defender Jamie Victory remains
sidelined with a groin problem, while midfielder Grant McCann is still
recovering from a cartilage operation. New signing Mickey Bell is
cup-tied.
